Haven is a Christian based therapist who holds a bachelor and master’s degree in clinical social work from Cleveland State University, with an emphasis on personality development and pathology. He has provided quality and compassionate mental health/substance abuse services in a variety of dynamic settings including intensive care/trauma centers, acute care, sub-acute and in home. 


Haven specializes in working with adolescents, adults, and couples with a variety of real-life issues including depression, anxiety, adjustment, substance abuse, bereavement, and effects of pathological personalities thru the life span. He has a strong interest in helping people navigate the challenges in work and relationships, especially clients who have dealt with narcissistic individuals in relationships. He is trained as a mediator with a focus on health care/bioethics, is passionate about achieving the best possible outcomes for his clients, and is aware of the courage and strength it takes to start the journey. 


Haven likes to use concepts and skills from cognitive behavioral therapy and other varied approaches based upon the needs and goals of the client, thus allowing for flexibility to best fit the situation. He meets the clients where they are and has a thoughtful positive approach utilizing biblical principles as well as evidence-based concepts.
